--------------------------------------------------------------------

Part 1: Applying SSLauncher and its settings

Here is the link for SSLauncher, it's very tricky to get used to, but is very orginal and very, very customizable...

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ss.launcher&hl=en

All you need to change is the page wallpaper, provided in the link above, hide the status bar as well as the dock.
Also the "Hide Labels" needs to be applied in the "label fonts and style" setting when you select the "Pages" option.

***You can also you Apex Launcher if you are more comfortable using it***

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Part 2: Adding in the "Open App" icons

This part is little different, as SSLauncher is extremely customizable for this part. Hold down the homescreen and choose add shortcut.
To open the app drawer, choose Page in Action Type (or app if you want to open an app) and choose the apps page in the target.
Change your icon to a blank png as provided, and make the background transparent (not the icon BG the shortcut BG).

***Always remember to tap apply settings after each step else it will forget***

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Part 3: Adding the Minimalist Text

I simply used MT here as it does the job quick and simple.
Here is the MT link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.devmil.minimaltext&hl=en
I'm not providing the preferences as it's quicker just to add in the clock
Use a 1x1 widget size, and change the font size to black and size 40.
Custom layout is 24hr 2 digits and minutes 2 digits.
